About Us
Love Thy Neighbor (LTN) program was created by First Baptist Church of Viburnum in 2015. The program is supported by the community and very well organized. The leadership is passionate about their call to meet the needs of their community and they are very excited about helping us get LTN started here in Dent County.
LTN is organized by Community Churches meeting the needs of the community - elderly, veterans, disabled, financially challenged, etc. All work projects are done outside such as decks, roofing, painting, and yard work, all at no charge to the homeowner. Work during the day and worship at night. There is something for everyone, such as being part of a work crew, kitchen crew, encouragers, prayer warriors, organizers, runners, etc.
Missions in deed and in word... we emphasize making connections with homeowners, inviting them to join in devotions with us, sharing their stories, we pray with them, and at the end of the work week we present them with a Bible.
