About Us
Love Thy Neighbor (LTN) Dent County launched in 2021 and has been growing strong ever since. Originally inspired by the LTN program created by First Baptist Church of Viburnum in 2015, we are now fully established and continuing the mission of serving our community with passion and dedication. LTN Viburnum has helped multiple churches across Missouri and beyond start their own LTN projects. LTN is a collaboration of local churches, coming together to meet the needs of our community—including the elderly, veterans, disabled individuals, and those facing financial hardship. We provide essential outdoor home improvements such as deck repairs, roofing, painting, and yard work, all at no cost to homeowners. Our mission goes beyond just physical labor; we work during the day and come together for worship in the evening, fostering fellowship and faith throughout the week.
There’s a role for everyone in LTN—whether serving on a work crew, preparing meals in the kitchen, offering encouragement, praying for our teams, coordinating logistics, or running supplies. Our mission is both in deed and in word, as we build relationships with homeowners, invite them to join in devotions, hear their stories, and pray with them. At the end of each workweek, we present them with a Bible as a symbol of hope and faith.
We are excited to see lives impacted—both in those we serve and in those who serve. Join us in making a difference!
